The Vedic knowledge comes directly from God and is not man-made or man concocted like the knowledge from other religious systems. The simple proof that the Vedic knowledge comes from God is that it’s vast and accurate. There are billions of verses in the original Vedic scriptures but in Kali Yuga most of the knowledge is slowly lost due to ignorance and destruction by the ignorant. All the Vedic knowledge is re-established in every Satya Yuga. Despite the loss of knowledge, still there are more than one million verses in the Vedic scriptures today which come directly from God and which have been in existence for more than 5000 years.
“O lord, you are the original source of Vedic literature. You are the original cause of material creation, the life force, the senses, the five elements, the three modes and the mahat-tattva. You are eternal time, determination and the two religious systems called truth [satya] and truthfulness [ṛta]. You are the shelter of the syllable om, which consists of three letters a-u-m.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 8.7.25)
“I am seated in everyone’s heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedanta, and I am the knower of the Vedas.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 15.15)
Ved Vaysa is the compiler of the Vedic knowledge and He is Lord Krishna Himself.
The Vedic followers are most fortunate and should take full advantage by reading and absorbing the Vedic knowledge.
