Hinduism is a monotheistic religion. This can be simply proven by the name of the main scripture of Hinduism, the Bhagavad-Gita, which means the Song of God. The various verses in the Bhagavad-Gita also prove that in Hinduism, there is only one God, Lord Krishna.

There is Trinity in Sanatan-Dharma too. There are millions of universes, and within each universe, there is Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, and Lord Brahma.

Lord Krishna is the Godhead, the original form of God.

Lord Brahma is the creator (the engineer of the universe). A very pious human being can become the Brahma of a universe if he desires and deserves it. In each universe there is a different person who holds the position of Lord Brahma. The Brahma of our universe has four heads. There are universes where Brahma has millions of heads.

Lord Vishnu is the maintainer of the universe. He is an expansion of Lord Krishna and He is the same person present in millions of universes. No human can ever become Lord Vishnu.

Lord Shiva is the destroyer of the universe. He is an expansion of Lord Krishna and He is the same person present in millions of universes. No human can ever become Lord Shiva.

How Does Lord Krishna Declare Himself as God?

“Even though over a period of time I might count all the atoms of the universe, I could not count all of My opulences which I manifest within innumerable universes.” (Lord Krishna, Shrimad-Bhagavatam 11.16.39)

“Furthermore, O Arjuna, I am the generating seed of all existences. There is no being – moving or nonmoving – that can exist without Me.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.39)

“The whole cosmic order is under Me. Under My will it is automatically manifested again and again, and under My will it is annihilated at the end.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.8)

“Because I am transcendental, beyond both the fallible and the infallible, and because I am the greatest, I am celebrated both in the world and in the Vedas as that Supreme Person.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 15.18)

“I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who perfectly know this engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.18)

“O Arjuna, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities; but Me no one knows.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 7.26)

The above are a few statements made by the God of Sanatan-Dharma, declaring Himself as God. There are no similar statements made the God the Bible, nor the God of the Quran, not even close.

“I am the LORD your God … You shall have no other gods before me.” This looks like a statement made by a school bully. There is no substance in it.

The Christian Doctrine of the Trinity

  1. The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct and independent persons.
  2. Each is equal in power, knowledge, and essence.
  3. Each is fully and equally God.
  4. Each is eternal.
  5. God is one, not three.

18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (KJV, Matthew 28:18-20)

Facts:

  • The first three Gospels (Mark, Luke, and Matthew) never indicate that Jesus is God. Only the last Gospel, the Gospel of John, indicates Jesus is God.
  • There is zero contemporary evidence for the existence of Jesus. This means out of the millions of people who are said to have come across Jesus. None of them wrote down or left any evidence suggesting Jesus was God or that Jesus performed miracles or that Jesus existed. Zero evidence.
  • Jesus is supposed to have gathered thousands, performed miracles, and was crucified, but the Romans and historians of that time, never mentioned Jesus.

Some fundamental questions/thoughts to ponder on:

  1. Was it not important for the first three Gospel authors to indicate that Jesus was God?
  2. If the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are equally and fully God. Why the need to baptize in all three names?
  3. The basic definition of God is one who is the greatest. This means nobody is equal or greater than Him. Why the Christian doctrine of Trinity defies this definition?
  4. Monotheistic means believing in only one entity as God. Based on the Christian doctrine of Trinity. The Father is God, Son is God, and Holy Spirit is God. How can Christianity be a monotheistic religion?
  5. In Exodus 20:2-3, Yahweh says “You shall have no other gods before me…”. So what about “God the Son” and “God the Holy Spirit”?
  6. If you ask Chatgpt to create an image of the Hindu God Krishna and the Christian God Yahweh. The Hindu God Krishna looks beautiful and young with no wrinkles and no beard. While Yahweh is shown old with wrinkles and a beard. At least the Hindus imagined a better looking God.

Note: Mark, Luke, Matthew, and John did not author the four Gospels. These names were assigned to give the writings some authority so people would take them seriously and follow. This is fraud, and most Christians are not aware of this truth.
