The aim of this writing is to show the truth as per the scriptural teachings. The truth will not be acceptable to some, but it must be stated.

It is very unfortunate that people pick one teaching from Hinduism to judge it and completely ignore the other teachings from Hinduism and they also completely ignore the teachings from the Abrahamic scriptures. For example, the California government is attempting to add caste as a category to identify and thus make Hindus and Hinduism look bad.

The Hindu bashing topic which is picked on by the ignorant is the caste system. Please click on the below to know the truth about the caste system, based on the scriptures.

The Vedic Caste System (eternalreligion.org)

The Bhagavad-Gita does NOT prescribe a caste system, it advocates a work order system to assign people for roles in society based on their qualifications or abilities. Every organization in the world, including the USA government, uses the Bhagavad-Gita prescribed work order system to assign people for roles in government offices.

The following are against USA and international human rights laws:
  • Human slavery
  • Human trading
  • Taking females captive (wives and daughters of fallen soldiers) and raping them
  • Stoning people to death
  • Burning people
  • Eternal punishment
  • Religious intolerance
  • Division of humanity into believers and unbelievers based on religion
  • Instilling fear
  • Looting
  • Taxation based on religion
  • Adults marrying children
All the above are prescribed by the Abrahamic scriptures (Bible and Quran). Would the California government categorize people based on the above beliefs?
– The teachings of the Bhagavad-Gita do NOT advocate any of the above.
– Only the Bhagavad-Gita teachings are in compliance with USA and international human rights laws, and thus only the Bhagavad-Gita can be used to take oath on for USA government positions like the presidency.
– Only the Bhagavad-Gita teaches that we are all souls, and we are all part of the family of God. Eventually every soul goes back to the spiritual abode to live in complete bliss.
Conclusion
The Bhagavad-Gita teaches that we are all souls, and all souls are eternal and equal.
The Vedic or Hinduism scriptures very clearly teach us to treat everyone equally and nicely. We should love, respect, and serve all.
