Knowing what qualities the original Godhead, God in His original form should have is very important. There are an incredible number of people who promote and accept ordinary humans as God. This is because they have poor knowledge on God and are also hyped up. They are basically blind and those who follow them are also blind.

“Although I am unborn and My transcendental body never deteriorates, and although I am the Lord of all living entities, I still appear in every millennium in My original transcendental form.” (Lord  Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.6)

“I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who perfectly know this engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.8).

“Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion – at that time I descend Myself. To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I Myself appear, millennium after millennium.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.7-8)

There are many things to learn from the above verses.

    1. Lord Krishna is the original form of God, the Godhead. From Him everything emanates. Thus Lord Vishnu comes from Lord Krishna and not vice versa. Many people falsely think Krishna comes from Vishnu, because Lord Krishna appeared only 5,000 years ago and Lord Vishnu appears before that. This is false, before Lord Vishnu there was Lord Krishna. One needs to go back zillions of years to know the whole truth and not just base everything on a few thousands years.
    2. Lord Krishna does not come out of the womb of a woman like we do. He simply appeared next a woman called Devaki. This is explained in other writings on this site.
    3. The millennium in verse 4.6, refers to one daytime of Brahma, and not 1,000 years. Lord Krishna appears once in every 8.64 billion years. The last time He appeared was just 5,000 years ago. He will appears again in His original form as Krishna in another 8.64 billion years (minus 5, 000 years).
    4. Lord Krishna’s body never deteriorates, which means His body is spiritual and not material like ours. He never has any white hair, nor wrinkles, nor a beard. These are all signs of aging and thus a material body. This means that if someone has a beard or white hair or looks old, he can never be called God.
    5. Lord Krishna has already appeared more than 18,000 times in His original form in this universe in the current cycle. He has also appeared in millions of other universes. This means that If someone has appeared only once so far, they can never be called God.
    6. When ever Lord Krishna comes in His original form or other forms (verse 4.7-8). He destroys the bad guys and protects the pious. This means that if someone does nothing to stop the bad guys, he can never be called God.
