Merely going to Temples, bowing down to the Deities of God, and going home does not indicate religiosity nor progress in spiritual life. One must read and follow the instructions of God.

You must read and follow the instructions in the Bhagavad-Gita, the topmost instructions from the seen and proven God, Lord Krishna. Spiritual knowledge is very important.

Knowledge is the ultimate perfection of self-realization. I shall explain that knowledge unto you by which the knots of attachment to the material world are cut.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.36.2)

“Salvation does not come from the mere sight of me without strenuous yogic practices. Whoever thoroughly understands my law, is released from the net of suffering even though he may never see me.” “Just as man cannot be cured of a disease by the mere sight of a physician without taking the prescribed medicine, similarly the one who hears my Dharma but does not put it into practice, he cannot be liberated by mere sight.” (Lord Buddha)

Lord Buddha is an incarnation of Lord Krishna.
