What is the value in material opulence if the result of such opulence is repeated birth, death, and misery in the material manifestation for billions of years?
What is the value earning one trillion dollars per hour if the result of such material wealth leads to attachment to the material world and thus material life for zillions of life times?
What is the value in leaving billions to your children and others, if you (the soul) will have to suffer for all the materialistic activities they engage in as a result of your money, plus they themselves get attached to material life for millions of births. Suffering in various ways in each life ?
if one is rich in one life, he will for sure be poor in many lives. This is the law of nature. One cannot maintain his/her opulence in every life.
“A short life in the land of Bharata-varṣa is preferable to a life achieved in Brahmaloka for millions and billions of years because even if one is elevated to Brahmaloka, he must return to repeated birth and death. Although life in Bhārata-varṣa, in a lower planetary system, is very short, one who lives there can elevate himself to full Kṛṣṇa consciousness and achieve the highest perfection, even in this short life, by fully surrendering unto the lotus feet of the Lord. Thus one attains Vaikuṇṭhaloka, where there is neither anxiety nor repeated birth in a material body.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 5.19.23)
“Bhārata-varṣa offers the proper land and circumstances in which to execute devotional service, which can free one from the results of jñāna and karma. If one obtains a human body in the land of Bhārata-varṣa, with clear sensory organs with which to execute the saṅkīrtana-yajña, but in spite of this opportunity he does not take to devotional service, he is certainly like liberated forest animals and birds that are careless and are therefore again bound by a hunter.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 5.19.25)
if one lives a short life (at most 100 years) in Bharat-varsa and engages in devotional service unto Lord Krishna. He/she can become free from material existence and go back to the spiritual manifestation and live eternally in the same body in complete bliss.
Outside Bharat-varsa, the chances of spiritual degradation are much much higher. God Himself only appears in Bharat-varsa, because whenever He comes, outside Bharat-varsa, there is complete spiritual degradation and so there is no point in Him visiting those places. Even today, billions of people outside Bharat-varsa believe God is formless or has never been seen. There is no point in God appearing to such atheistic believers.
