Time and Matter
Science in the Vedic Scriptures – Part 1
There is real scientific knowledge contained in the Vedic scriptures.
Based on the Vedic scriptures and the fact, time and matter are eternal. The scientists are in complete agreement with this. But the scientists also believe in creation of universe and thus creation of time and matter. The beginning of the universe and thus the beginning of time and matter. This does not make sense, because if time and matter are eternal, then how can there be a creation, the beginning of time and matter? The scientists have no answer on this very important scientific question.
Only the Vedic scriptures can answer this question. Time and matter are the energies of Lord Krishna (God). Since Lord Krishna is eternal, His energies are also eternal, and thus time and matter are eternal.
“My Self is the very source of creation..” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.5)
The above is confirming that Lord Krishna is the source of creation. His energies of time and matter are the main elements of material manifestation (creation).
“Material nature and the living entities should be understood to be beginning less..” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 13.20)
The above is confirming that material nature (matter and time), and living entities (souls) have no beginning (are eternal). We (souls) are all eternal.
“The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Time I am.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 11.32)
The above is confirming that time is one of the energies of God.
The above knowledge is unique to Sanatan-Dharma and it comes directly from God. Even the scientists today cannot explain how time and matter are eternal.
