Manipur Violence: Rape Is Barbaric
The recent rapes in Manipur of Meitei and Kuki women is simply barbaric. The rape of any women of any religion, community, tribe, and nation is simply barbaric.
It is very shameful that rapes are happening in Bharat (India), the country where the divine scriptures like the Bhagavad-Gita was spoken by Lord Krishna. The Indian government should hang all those who are convicted of gang rapes.
The concept of raping females of enemies originates from the Abrahamic scriptures and NOT from the scriptures of India. Thus, it is very shameful for all Indians to see foreign teachings implemented in India. It is purely lack of distribution of Vedic knowledge that is the cause of chaos in India and everywhere in the world.
What Does the Bhagavad-Gita Teach?
There are thousands of scriptures which originate from India (known as the Vedic scriptures), the essence or conclusion of all Vedic teachings are contained in the Bhagavad-Gita.
The Bhagavad-Gita was spoken on the battlefield in a town named Kurukshetra (about 3 hours from Delhi), just before the start of a war (Mahabharat war). God in His original form, Lord Krishna, was personally present on the battlefield as a chariot driver for Arjuna. Lord Krishna did not take part in any fighting He was just the chariot driver.
Some facts on the Mahabharat war and Bhagavad-Gita teachings:
- Millions of soldiers were killed in the war.
- NOT a single female was taken captive.
- NOT a single wife or daughters of fallen soldiers were taken captive.
- NOT a single female was raped.
- NOT a single wife or daughters of fallen soldiers were raped.
- NOT a single person was enslaved.
- The Bhagavad-Gita does NOT advocate slavery, taking females captive, and rape. These are considered barbaric.
The most powerful fighter on the battlefield was Bhisma, because he was the most experienced and he also had a boon that he could only be killed if he desired it and not otherwise. It’s because of a woman, that Bhisma was defeated. The rules of warfare based on the Vedic teachings are that if a woman enters the battlefield, the war must STOP, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of women. When Shikhandi (a man) entered the battlefield and was standing on the chariot of Arjuna. Bhisma refused to fight Arjuna, because he was thinking of Shikhandi from Shikhandi’s previous birth, when he was a female named Amba. So, for Bhisma Shikhandi was a female and for Arjuna Shikhandi was a man. So, it was righteous for Arjuna to have Shikhandi on his chariot and for the war to continue as normal. But for Bhisma, it was wrong to fight Arjuna, since a woman (Shikhandi) was near him, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of a woman (Shikhandi). Because Bhisma refused to fight Arjuna, he was showered with many arrows from Arjuna, and this made him lie down on a bed of arrows and he then decided to end his life.
“One who is not envious but is a kind friend to all living entities, who does not think himself a proprietor and is free from false ego, who is equal in both happiness and distress, who is tolerant, always satisfied, self-controlled, and engaged in devotional service with determination, his mind and intelligence fixed on Me – such a devotee of Mine is very dear to Me.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 12.13-14)
“Who is friendly to every living being – he certainly comes to Me…” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 11.55)
“One who is equal to friends and enemies – such a person is very dear to Me…” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 12.18-19)
It should be noted that the Bhagavad-Gita was spoken by Lord Krishna to Arjuna, to get him to do his duty of being a soldier, hence, to fight. Fighting does not apply to us, because we are not authorized soldiers in the government military. Arjuna was asked to fight, because he was an authorized soldier in the government military at that time and war was declared on him. Fighting by those who are not authorized by the government and are not in the government military is called terrorism.
What Does the Abrahamic Scriptures Teach?
The Bible and Al-Quran, 100% clearly teaches that the females of enemies can be taken captive, raped, and enslaved. It’s very unfortunate that the Indians are following the foreign teachings and completely ignoring the local Vedic teachings.
The Bible Teachings
“When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the Lord your God gives you from your enemies.” (Deuteronomy 20.13-14)
“The Israelites captured the Midianite women and children and took all the Midianite herds, flocks and goods as plunder.” (Numbers 31.9)
The above means, kill the men and take the women and children as captive and use them (rape the females and enslave them).
“Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man. (Numbers 31.17-18)
The above means kill the males and females who are not virgin and keep the females who are virgin for the self (to rape them).
“If a man sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as male servants do.” (Exodus 21.7)
The above means daughters can be sold.
The Al-Quran Teachings
Based on the Al-Quran, the Muslims can kill their enemy men and take their wives and daughters as captives and rape them and sell them into sex slavery. The slaves can be raped at any time.
“Who abstain from sex. Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess, – for (in their case) they are free from blame.” (Al-Quran 23.5-6)
“O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war.” (Quran 33.50)
“It is not lawful for you (to marry other) women after this, nor to change them for other wives even though their beauty attracts you, except those (captives or slaves) whom your right hand possesses. And Allah is Ever a Watcher over all things.” (Quran 33.52)
“And He (Allah) brought those of the People of the Scripture (i.e., Banu Qurayza) who supported them (i.e., the Quraysh) down from their strongholds, and cast panic into their hearts. Some (adult males) ye slew, and ye made captive some (women and children) “ (Quran 33.26)
In the below, the founder and God of Islam is authorizing the rape of married women in front of their husbands who have surrendered.
“The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Qur’anic verse. (Sura 4.24) “And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess.” (Abu Dawud Hadith 2155, also Sahih Muslim 1456d)
In the below, the founder of Islam is authorizing the rape of women.
“We went out with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid-conception). But we said. We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said. It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born ” (Sahih Muslim Hadith 1438a)
Note: It doesn’t matter whose translation you read, the message is the same, but some translators are clearer than others.
