There is a lot in the news about black lives for many reasons, and most recently due to the football match between England and Italy. Three of the penalty takers were black.
It is very important to know in truth what the religious scriptures of the world say about equality between all people and living beings. What does the Bhagavad-Gita teach in this regard?
Black Lives Matter
White Lives Matter
Brown Lives Matter
Police Lives Matter
Animal Lives Matter
Tree Lives Matter
Based on the Bhagavad-Gita, all lives matter, because all living beings are part of the family of God. The living entity is the eternal spiritual soul and not the temporary material body. All souls are equal and have no material designations.
“All living beings are but part of the Supreme, or, in other words, that they are Mine.“ (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.35)
“The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal, fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 15.7)
“The Lord is very satisfied with His devotee when the devotee greets other people with tolerance, mercy, friendship and equality.” (Shrimad-Bhagavatam 4.11.13)
