Ignorance Will Lead to Being Deceived

Ignorance Will Lead to Being Deceived

Ignorance means lack of knowledge or improper knowledge or incomplete knowledge. Ignorant people are easy target for deception by the deceivers. The deceivers are also in ignorance,  but they are in denial of the truth and have very high personal false ego. They will not question what they are taught, they will accept blindly.

Ignorance will lead to being deceived applies in religious values, social relationships, business relationships, and general life matters.

Those who do not realize the Bhagavad-Gita are in ignorance.

“But those who, out of envy, disregard these teachings and do not practice them regularly, are to be considered bereft of all knowledge, befooled, and doomed to ignorance and bondage.” (Lord Bhagavad-Gita 3.32)

Only the knowledge of the Bhagavad-Gita will destroy ignorance.

“Out of compassion for them, I, dwelling in their hearts, destroy with the shining lamp of knowledge the darkness born of ignorance.”  (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.1)

What is Real Knowledge?

“Humility, pridelessness, nonviolence, tolerance, simplicity, approaching a bona fide spiritual master, cleanliness, steadiness and self-control; renunciation of the objects of sense gratification, absence of false ego, the perception of the evil of birth, death, old age and disease; nonattachment to children, wife, home and the rest, and evenmindedness amid pleasant and unpleasant events; constant and unalloyed devotion to Me, resorting to solitary places, detachment from the general mass of people; accepting the importance of self-realization, and philosophical search for the Absolute Truth-all these I thus declare to be knowledge, and what is contrary to these is ignorance.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 13.8-12)

Ignorance takes the soul to take birth in the animal kingdom

“When one dies in the mode of passion, he takes birth among those engaged in fruitive activities; and when he dies in the mode of ignorance, he takes birth in the animal kingdom.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 14.15)
