Questions on God Everyone Must Ask Themselves

Questions on God Everyone Must Ask Themselves

  1. Can God be Jealous?

Some examples of jealousy.

  • He was jealous of his rich brother.
  • He was jealous of his brother’s wealth.

We are jealous of others because they have things that we don’t have and would wish to have.

God is complete, He has everything and He is the supplier of everything and thus God can never be jealous. Only a man concocted God would be jealous, because it’s an imaginary God based on man’s mentality.

The God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, NEVER says He is jealous.

2. Would God order women and children to be taken captive?

It is against international laws created by humans to take women and children captive, in war or outside of war.

The God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, NEVER orders women and children to be taken captive. In the Mahabharat war, when Lord Krishna was personally present, not a single person was taken captive.

3. Would God order women and daughters to be made into sex slaves?

It is against international laws created by humans to make females into sex slaves, in war or outside of war.

The God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, NEVER orders females to be made into sex slaves. In the Mahabharat war, when Lord Krishna was personally present, not a single female was raped or made into a sex slave.

4. Would God order men and women to be enslaved?

It is against international laws created by humans to make humans into slaves.

The God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, NEVER orders women and men to be enslaved.

5. Is God desperate to be known?

Some people are desperate to be famous, or want others to think of them as the best. This is because they are not in control. God is never desperate, because He is in full control. If God wanted everyone to know Him, He would reveal Himself to everyone and not just one person or a few.

The God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, is NEVER desperate and He does not make any desperate statements.

6. Is God testing us?

Why would God play hide and seek and punish those who fail to find Him?

The God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, is omniscient. He knows the past, present, and the future. He does not play hide and seek with our lives.

“O Arjuna, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities; but Me no one knows.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 7.26)

7. Does God select His representatives?

God empowers the most righteous humans to become His Gurus. He does not select ruthless, lusty, and materialistic people.

The God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, selects the most pious humans to become His Gurus.

“The symptoms of a sadhu are that he is tolerant, merciful and friendly to all living entities. He has no enemies, he is peaceful, he abides by the scriptures, and all his characteristics are sublime.” (Lord Krishna, Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.25.21)

“A sober person who can tolerate the urge to speak, the mind’s demands, the actions of anger and the urges of the tongue, belly and genitals is qualified to make disciples all over the world.”  (Nectar of Instruction, text 1)

8. Does God makes contradictory statements?

God is omniscient and absolute. He knows what He stated in the past. God does not over turn His previous decisions or change His mind.

The God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, does not change His mind on His previous instructions.

9. God is the most responsible person?

Childish people will make foolish statements like “I will destroy you if you don’t accept me”, “I will send you to hell”, “I will burn you”, “follow me or else”, “fear me”, “I will terrorize you”  and so on..

God does not make childish statements, because He is most responsible and in full composure at all times.

The God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, NEVER makes any childish statements.  There are no statements like the above ones in the Bhagavad-Gita.

10. God is the best communicator?

Some humans are very good communicators. Why should God lack good communication skills?

Only the God of the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna, very clearly declares Himself as God without any doubt.

“The whole cosmic order is under Me. Under My will it is automatically manifested again and again, and under My will it is annihilated at the end.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.8)

“I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who perfectly know this engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.8)

“Furthermore, O Arjuna, I am the generating seed of all existences. There is no being – moving or nonmoving – that can exist without Me.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.39)

“Even though over a period of time I might count all the atoms of the universe, I could not count all of My opulences which I manifest within innumerable universes.” (Lord Krishna, Srimad-Bhagavatam 11.16.39)

“Because I am transcendental, beyond both the fallible and the infallible, and because I am the greatest, I am celebrated both in the world and in the Vedas as that Supreme Person.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 15.18)

There are no statements like the above made by any other applicant for the position of God. Also, these were made more than 5000 years ago, long before any other applicant.

11. Does God prove Himself?

If someone claims to be the best cricketer, one will immediately look up his records of competing with others and then accept him as the best only if there is solid performance record. In a similar way, one should not accept anyone so cheaply as God just because they claim to be God, without seeing solid evidences.

So far only Lord Krishna has proved Himself as God without any  doubt. All other competitors have yet to show up and prove themselves.

12. Does God give post dated checks?

Who would work for a company that may pay at an unknown time in the future?

What good is the police if they come to a crime scene and then leave saying they will come back at a later date to stop the crime?

What good is the military if the terrorists are terrorizing people and the military come and say, we will come back later on to deal with the terrorists?

When Lord Krishna appeared, He saved His pure devotees on the spot in their current life. He saved Arjuna and his 4 other brothers despite so many attempts on their lives. He saved Prahlad from so many attempts on his life. Lord Krishna has saved thousands of people on the spot.

Do Something For Others

Do Something  For Others

Please do something for the benefit of others. You don’t have to spend many years on researching and hard thinking to create unique written material that would benefit others. I have done that for you. You just need to send to everyone you know, the 3 booklets which I have written. But first, please read yourself.

Comparative Religion Study
The Book of Life
Fundamentals of Sanatan Dharma

From the home page on the right. Open the files, right click the mouse, then chose the ‘save as’ option to save the pdf file on your computer and then forward to  all you know. Or you can just send them a link to  the files from the EternalReligion.org site.

As you can see, the motive of this site is to give spiritual knowledge to everyone for their own benefit. There is ZERO business or personal interests.  The Bhagavad-Gita audio recordings are FREE, the book is FREE, booklets are FREE. Basically at my cost.

Spiritual knowledge is the only gift that will help anyone eternally. All other gifts are of temporary benefit and thus useless. Only the Sanatan-Dharma scriptural knowledge is spiritual, because Sanatan-Dharma preaches we are the eternal soul (spiritual being) and not the body (material being). If a scripture teaches that we are the body, then everything is for the benefit of the material body, and not  for the spiritual soul. Thus it’s purely material knowledge and not spiritual knowledge.

“For one who explains this supreme secret to the devotees, pure devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end he will come back to Me. There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 18.68-69)
Lord Krishna has made giving the gift of spiritual knowledge to others, the highest service unto Him. The Bhagavad-Gita knowledge is by far, the topmost spiritual knowledge.

Don’t Waste This Rare Human Life

Don’t Waste This Rare Human Life

“Prahlada Maharaja said: One who is sufficiently intelligent should use the human form of body from the very beginning of life — in other words, from the tender age of childhood — to practice the activities of devotional service, giving up all other engagements. The human body is most rarely achieved, and although temporary like other bodies, it is meaningful because in human life one can perform devotional service. Even a slight amount of sincere devotional service can give one complete perfection.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 7.6.1)

There are 8.4 million species of living  beings, and out of these, there are 400,000 human species. Out of these, most are uncivilized human species. Out of the civilized species, only those who are followers of Sanatan-Dharma, can know God as a real tangible person, and serve Him. In all other religions, God is just a name or concept with ZERO physical proof, ZERO pastimes, ZERO description, ZERO history, ZERO appearances, and  ZERO savings.

Only in the Sanatan-Dharma scriptures, will one learn about God’s pastimes, appearances,  description, history, and His association with His devotees for friendship and rescue (saving them).

Anyone from any religion, can instantly become most fortunate, simply by accepting Sanatan-Dharma as the truth. Stop killing (go vegetarian) as the first  step and  start to study the Bhagavad-Gita. You will soon understand and know that Lord Krishna is the one true God. Only He has very  clearly declared and proved Himself as God. This  is because, God is One.

Detoxify Your Brain

Detoxify Your Brain

If you detoxify your brain, the body will automatically be detoxified. But if you detoxify the body, leaving out the brain, then it’s like an elephant taking bath. The elephants take a very nice bath in the river, but then they come out and throw dirt all over them selves.

  1. Give up wicked mentality. Don’t do onto others what you wouldn’t like done to you. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Pay others what you would like to be paid, if you were doing the same thing.
  2. Give up hatred. Like all, love all.
  3. Don’t be selfish. Think of others. Do something for the benefit of all living beings.
  4. Don’t curse anyone.
  5. Consider all living beings as your brothers and sisters.
  6. The food you eat, how it’s stored and cooked, affects your consciousness in a significant way. The natural way is the best way. Eat fresh, don’t eat frozen foods. Using plastic and glass containers for storing and cooking, and microwaves is not natural. Use metal, and clay pots and plates only, don’t use plastic and glass. The natural and best way to cook is to use a wood fire, gas is second best.
  7. Cows milk is by far the most nutritious food, and it has the potency to give spiritual intelligence.  Drink milk and eat dairy products. It is far better to drink milk from cows and do some direct service to them, to help them. Than to go vegan, and do nothing for them directly.
  8. Don’t imprison animals like dogs, cats, fish, and others. Let them leave a free life in their own environment with their own kind (don’t keep pets).
  9. Don’t compare yourself with God. God is a person, like you, but He is great, and you are not. Just because you are not a brain surgeon, this does not mean that brain surgeons are not persons like you. They are persons like you, but they are great and you are not.  If an elephant lifts a 300kg weight, he is not considered great.  But if a human lifts a 300kg weight, he is considered great. In a similar way, God is a person like us with 2 hands, 2 legs, and so on, but He is the greatest person.
  10. Don’t think God has to do everything based on your perception. Just because humans beget children by a male and female joining. God does not beget like us, although He is a person like us. He can beget by simply glancing at a female and impregnating her. He can also beget without a female. That’s why He is great.
  11. Don’t base everything on your limited knowledge and understanding. Everything that is created, has a form and is visible, so why should the creator be formless and invisible? God has form and is visible.
  12. To find the best swimmer, you have to see the records of all the swimmers in the world living today and who have appeared in the past. In a similar way, to find the greatest person. See the records of all who have appeared in the world.
  13. One cannot get a degree in a subject, by reading just one book. In a similar way, one will never know the truth, by just basing everything on one book. One must read many books to realize the truth.
  14. Knowledge is not limited to what you know. Intelligence is not limited to your intelligence. There are others who have far more knowledge and intelligence than you.
  15. Don’t judge a book by the cover. See the contents also. In a similar way, don’t judge others simply based on their dress. Appearances are deceiving.  There are many wolves in sheep clothing.
  16. Don’t accept what others say without seeing the proof.
  17. One lie will force you to lie at least 10 times to cove up the first lie. So be honest from the start.
  18. The gift of spiritual knowledge, is by far the best gift one can give to others.
  19. Seeing food on digital devices, does not satisfy our hunger. In a similar way. There is a big difference between seeing a person, flesh to flesh, then via digital devices. Visit people in flesh, not on digital devices.
  20. Just as you wash off dirt you accumulated the previous day by taking a bath in the morning. In a similar way, if someone offends you, wash off the anger in complete, the next day (forgiveness).
  21. You came with nothing and will leave with nothing, so don’t get attached to anything or anyone. Learn to let go, and give away (be charitable).
  22. Giving up ones time for others is the best sacrifice, followed by giving up ones wealth for the benefit of others.
  23. Sight seeing material places will only materialize you more. Visit spiritual places to increase spiritualism.

All the above is based on a realization of the teachings from the Bhagavad-Gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam.

“Persons who want to advance in superior religion are advised to give up all envy of other living entities, whether in relationship to the body, words or mind. There is no religion superior to this.” (SB 7.15.8)

“The human form of body is meant for understanding the self and the Supreme Self, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, both of whom are transcendentally situated. If both of them can be understood when one is purified by advanced knowledge, for what reason and for whom does a foolish, greedy person maintain the body for sense gratification?” (SB 7.15.40)

Don’t Think Like a Bacteria

Don’t Think Like a Bacteria

Some bacteria only live for a few hours and then die. With their tiny brain, they cannot conceive anything beyond a few hours. In a similar way, many humans cannot conceive anything beyond this life. They think this life is everything and there is nothing after this life.

This life is just one drop in the ocean of time, it will be over soon and you will be in another body before you know it. What your next body will be, will depend 100% on the actions you have taken in this and previous lives.

Take up religion seriously and elevate your consciousness, before it’s too late. No elevation of consciousness means lower consciousness and thus birth among the lower conscious species after this short life.

Only in Sanatan-Dharma, there is real, seen, and proven God. In all other religions, God is invisible, unseen, unknown, and unknowable, with ZERO proof.

Follow Sanatan-Dharma, elevate your consciousness, know God in full, and go back to the spiritual manifestation at the end of this short life.

“Now hear, O son of Pṛthā [Arjuna], how by practicing yoga in full consciousness of Me, with mind attached to Me, you can know Me in full, free from doubt.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 7.1)

“I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who know this perfectly engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.8)

Higher Science from the Bhagavad-Gita

Higher Science from the Bhagavad-Gita

God is not created nor can He be destroyed. He has no beginning, and no end. God is eternal.

“He who knows Me as the unborn, as the beginningless, as the Supreme Lord of all the worlds – he only, undeluded among men, is freed from all sins.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.3)

This life is like one drop in the ocean of time, and the ocean is infinite.  Time is eternal.

“Time I am.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 11.32)

If we go back zillion to the power of zillion years back. You existed. If we go forward zillion to the power of zillion years in the future, you will exist. You are eternal.

“Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 2.12)

The essential substance of all objects is matter. We can change the matter from one form to another, but we cannot create new matter nor destroy matter. Matter is eternal.

“Material nature and the living entities should be understood to be beginningless. Their transformations and the modes of matter are products of material nature.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 13.20)

Time and matter is eternal, because these are energies of the eternal God. The living entities (souls) are eternal, because these are parts of the eternal God.

“My Self is the very source of creation.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.5)

“The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal, fragmental parts. ” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 15.7)

One will not find any information like the above in any non-Vedic scriptures. This is because, only God can give this information and He give it in a scripture directly spoken by Him, the Bhagavad-Gita.

Truthfulness is Most Important

Truthfulness is Most Important

“There is nothing more sinful than untruthfulness. Because of this, mother earth once said,’I can bear any heavy thing except a person who is a liar.’ ” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 8.20.4)

Truthfulness is the first and most important pillar of Sanatan-Dharma. One must never lie, deceive, mislead, nor cheat anyone.

If someone asks you a question and you do not know or are not sure, simply say ‘I don’t know’. Making things up is simply lying.

Some people are accustomed to speaking so many lies. They do not realize that no one is free from the sinful reactions of being untruthful. All liars will have to suffer and pay for their sins, either in this life or the next.

If someone lies once, they will have to lie at least 10 times to cover up the first lie. So why not be honest in the first place?

Always speak the truth
Always stand up for the truth
Always side with the truth

God has been Seen by Many Vedic Swamis

If one wants to know God, then one must learn from a spiritual master who has seen God, thus follow the Vedic Swamis. His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada is one Vedic spiritual master who personally saw God, face to face. One should follow him to know, serve, and love God.

God is within us All

Jesus very clearly stated that his father was living in him.

“The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.” (John 14.10)

“One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:6)

“But the temple Jesus was speaking about was his body.” (John 2.21)

The Vedic teaching is that the body is a Temple, because Lord Krishna (God) is present within the body. Jesus also believed this.

There is only person who has very clearly stated and proved that He is within the heart of Jesus and all living beings, that person is Lord Krishna. He is the father of Jesus, the God.

“I am the Supersoul, O Arjuna, seated in the hearts of all living entities.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.20)

“I am in everyone’s heart as the Supersoul.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 7.21)

Gurus instruct according to time, place, and the audience

Due to the audience of Jesus, he did not disclose his father’s information. Because his audience could not bear to know that Lord Krishna is God. Even today, many of his so-called followers, cannot bear to know this.

“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.” (John 16:12)

All the teachings of Jesus can be found in the Vedic scriptures in detail and with the addition of information on his father, Lord Krishna.

God is One

Some people say why different Gods? There is only one God. This is 100% clear if one accepts the truth. Nobody has seen the God of the Holy Bible, nor the Holy Quran. This is because, the eternal God is one, and thus He is only described in the scriptures of one religion, and only seen by the followers of one religion. The eternal religion (Sanatan-Dharma). Lord Krishna is the only one who has appeared thousands of times and each time declared and proved that He is the one true God. All other so-called gods are just names, invisible, unseen, unproven, unknown, and unknowable. Everything will be clear for those who are willing to accept the truth.

“It is true that no one has ever seen God at any time.” (John 1:18)

The below statements are unique to Lord Krishna, because only the real God can make such statements. There are no such statements made by the God of the Holy Bible and Quran.

“I am the Supreme Lord of all creation and I create and destroy this universe, being it’s ultimate cause. I am the Absolute Truth and one who worships Me with unfailing devotional service comes to Me.” (Lord Krishna, Uddhava Gita 12.45)

Help Spread The Truth

Help Spread The Truth

Either you spread the truth or others will spread lies. It’s your choice. Think about your children and grand children. How will be the world be for them? Who will be responsible for the state of the world in their times?

As you sow, so shall they reap.

Simply send a link of your favorite article to all you know and ask them to do the same.

Help spread the truth today. Do it before you go.

You yourself will have to experience your actions of today in your future. One practical example. Plant a tree today and you your self will be able to eat the fruits in your future. Destroy trees and you your self will have to suffer the reactions of intense heat, pollution, lack of oxygen, lack of fruits, and so on. Nature is intelligent, just, and equal to all.
