The Real God is All Merciful

The Real God is All Merciful

First of all you should know what merciless and merciful means. Then you will know if you are following the real God who is all merciful or a ruthless dictator (fake man made up god).

What is Merciless?

  • If someone gives only one chance then he cannot be called merciful, he is merciless.
  • If someone send anyone to eternal hell, then he cannot be called merciful, he is merciless.
  • If someone creates a game (of life) and sends the losers to hell, he cannot be called merciful, he is merciless.
  • If someone plays hide and seek and sends those who don’t find to eternal hell, then he cannot be called merciful, he is merciless.
  • If someone orders women to be taken captive then he cannot be called merciful, he is merciless.
  • If someone orders women, men or children to be made into slaves then he cannot be called merciful, he is merciless.
  • If someone orders women and girls to be taken captive and made into sex slaves, he cannot called merciful, he is a barbarian.
  • If someone divides humans into believers and non-believers , he cannot be called merciful, he is merciless.
  • If someone orders the killing of animals, he cannot be called merciful, he is merciless.

What is Merciful?

  • If someone gives unlimited chances, he is called merciful.
  • If someone does not send anyone to eternal hell, he is called merciful.
  • If someone does not order anyone to be taken captive, he is merciful.
  • If someone prohibits slavery, he is merciful.
  • If someone orders kindness to all living beings he is merciful.

Lord Krishna is the only proven God of mercy and love.

Why Every Soul is Important to Lord Krishna?

Every soul is a family member of Lord Krishna and thus every soul is equally valuable to Lord Krishna. Just like in a family, every child is equally valuable to the mother. No mother wants to see her children suffer eternally. In a similar way, Lord Krishna does not want any of His family members to suffer eternally. Never. Even the most sinful person is very much missed by Lord Krishna in the spiritual manifestation. Lord Krishna is very eager for all souls to go back to the spiritual manifestation and live eternally in complete bliss with Him.

“The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 15.7)

The above confirms that every soul is eternally a part of Lord Krishna.

“Having obtained real knowledge from a self-realized soul, you will never fall again into such illusion, for by this knowledge you will see that all living beings are but part of the Supreme, or, in other words, that they are Mine.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.35)

The above is another confirmation that all souls belong to Lord Krishna. This is why He is all merciful, forgiving, and loving to everyone (humans, animals, and plants).

“I envy no one, nor am I partial to anyone. I am equal to all. But whoever renders service unto Me in devotion is a friend, is in Me, and I am also a friend to him.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.29)

The above confirms that Lord Krishna is equal to all souls.

The teachings of Lord Krishna  are very clear. All Hindus, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Sikhs, Jains, and even the atheists will eventually get salvation and go back to the spiritual manifestation and live in complete bliss with each other. Even the souls in all the animal and plant bodies will also go back to the spiritual manifestation. All the souls who have appeared on this planet or on the millions of other planets in millions of universes will all eventually go back to the spiritual manifestation. Nobody will be left out or forgotten, because all souls are family members of Lord Krishna.

Saintly Persons Behavior

Saintly Persons Behavior

Due to ignorance and deception, people are deceived into accepting materialistic, untruthful, lusty, violent, aggressive, and immoral people as saintly. The Vedic scriptures give very clear information on how to tell if a person is saintly.

“The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: O Uddhava, a saintly person is merciful and never injures others. Even if others are aggressive he is tolerant and forgiving toward all living entities. His strength and meaning in life come from the truth itself, he is free from all envy and jealousy, and his mind is equal in material happiness and distress. Thus, he dedicates his time to work for the welfare of all others. His intelligence is never bewildered by material desires, and he has controlled his senses. His behavior is always pleasing, never harsh and always exemplary, and he is free from possessiveness. He never endeavors in ordinary, worldly activities, and he strictly controls his eating. He therefore always remains peaceful and steady. A saintly person is thoughtful and accepts Me as his only shelter. Such a person is very cautious in the execution of his duties and is never subject to superficial transformations, because he is steady and noble, even in a distressing situation. He has conquered over the six material qualities — namely hunger, thirst, lamentation, illusion, old age and death. He is free from all desire for prestige and offers honor to others. He is expert in reviving the Kṛṣṇa consciousness of others and therefore never cheats anyone. Rather, he is a well-wishing friend to all, being most merciful. Such a saintly person must be considered the most learned of men. He perfectly understands that the ordinary religious duties prescribed by Me in various Vedic scriptures possess favorable qualities that purify the performer, and he knows that neglect of such duties constitutes a discrepancy in one’s life. Having taken complete shelter at My lotus feet, however, a saintly person ultimately renounces such ordinary religious duties and worships Me alone. He is thus considered to be the best among all living entities.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 11.11.29-32)
We should only accept saintly persons as our Gurus/Prophets and try to become saintly ourselves by following the above instructions.

What is Evil Today was Always Evil

What is Evil Today was Always Evil

  1. To take women captive is evil today and it was evil in the past too.
  2. To take children captive is evil today and it was evil in the past too.
  3. For adults to sleep with children is evil today and it was evil in the past too.
  4. For a husband to sleep with his wife without her consent is evil today and it was evil in the past too.
  5. For a master to sleep with his slaves is evil today and it was evil in the past too.
  6. To enslave men, women, and children is evil today and it was evil in the past too.
  7. To trade in slaves is evil today and it was evil in the past too.
  8. To keep slaves is evil today and it was evil the past too.
  9. To deny others free will is evil today and it was evil in the past too.
  10. To deny others the right to practice their beliefs anywhere in the world is evil today and it was evil in the past too.

Save Nature

Save Nature

There is a direct relationship between nature and humans.

If humans kill nature by chopping down trees, removing grass, killing animals, and polluting the atmosphere. Then nature will kill humans via wars, human mental disorders, disease, and natural disasters. The ecological system is this simple.

Destruction of nature is a sign of human spiritual degradation (reduced religiosity). This means an increase of materialism which includes developing complex mentalities which will only result in more misery for humans.

Destruction of nature includes chopping down trees, removing grass, killing animals, adding cement to raw land, polluting the air with use of chemicals and machinery etc…

Complex human mentalities means:

  • Humans have no consideration for each other.
  • Humans are self-centered.
  • Humans have developed wicked mentalities.
  • Humans have developed hatred for others and are merciless.
  • Humans cannot understand each other. Thus more arguments and disagreements.
  • Humans within a house will have different eating habits, different eating times, different likes and dislikes. Basically very difficult for just 2 humans to live within the same house.
  • Ignorance of what is right and what is wrong.

Unfortunately even religious places are managed by ignorant,  degraded, and egoistic people. They are not helping people to become more spiritual, their only interest is in collecting more and more money to add more cement to their existing cement and to satisfy their own bellies. The result is that the whole society is misguided.

Serious advice from

  • Stop destroying trees and grass.
  • Plant trees and grass.
  • Stop destroying land by adding cement (buildings) to it. Keep it raw with trees and grass.
  • Save religiosity by saving nature.
  • Stop human degradation by stopping the destruction of nature.
  • Stop wars by stopping the destruction of nature.
  • Stop humans developing complex mentalities by stopping the destruction of nature.

“One who is not envious but who is a kind friend to all living entities, who does not think himself a proprietor, who is free from false ego and equal both in happiness and distress, who is always satisfied and engaged in devotional service with determination and whose mind and intelligence are in agreement with Me-he is very dear to Me.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 12.13-14)

“All living entities” means humans, animals, and plants. Anyone who chops down trees, removes grass, or kills animals is not following the above.

Knowledge is Very Important

Knowledge is Very Important

One must study the Vedic scriptures to advance in spiritual consciousness and devotion to God. Merely going to Temples does NOT help anyone to advance in devotion to God. It is the knowledge of Lord Krishna (God) and following His instructions (Bhagavad-Gita) that will help one to advance in devotional service to Him.

  • Degradation is due to lack of knowledge.
  • Degradation is due to not knowing what is right and what is wrong.
  • Engaging in sinful activities is due to not knowing what is sinful and what is not sinful.
  • Lack of knowledge is ignorance, regardless of how many times one goes to Temples.
  • Ignorance leads to degradation and birth in lower species.
  • Humans take birth in animal kingdoms due to ignorance.
  • Humans become atheistic due to lack of knowledge.
  • Humans become uncivilized due to lack of knowledge.
  • Not being ale to describe God is proof of gross ignorance.
  • Believing that nobody has seen God is proof of gross ignorance.
  • Thinking we are the body is the animal level thinking.
  • Humans who have no knowledge or little knowledge are easy targets for deception from those who are in complete ignorance of God.
  1. The below verse summarizes the result of ignorance and knowledge.
“Knowledge is the cause of liberation and ignorance is the cause of bondage to material life.” (Uddhava Gita).
2. Gaining knowledge is more important than giving up material attachments.
“The sacrifice of knowledge is greater than the sacrifice of material possessions.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.33)
3. Only those with knowledge will see everything properly.
“The humble sage, by virtue of true knowledge, sees with equal vision a learned and gentle brahmana, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog-eater [outcaste].” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 5.18)
4. It is with knowledge that one will realize what is right and what is wrong.
“…with knowledge of the sin, engage in these acts?” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 1.37-38)
5.  Only those who have knowledge will realize we are the soul and not the body.
“One who is in knowledge knows that the self slays not nor is slain…” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 2.19)
6. It is knowledge that will free one from karma (bondage of works).
“Thus far I have declared to you the analytical knowledge of sāṅkhya philosophy. Now listen to the knowledge of yoga whereby one works without fruitive result. O son of Pṛthā, when you act by such intelligence, you can free yourself from the bondage of works.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 2.39)
7. Those with less knowledge are patients of materialism.
“Men of small knowledge are very much attached to the flowery words of the Vedas…” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 2.43-44)
8. Those who have knowledge will not become attached to materialism.
“He who is without attachment, who does not rejoice when he obtains good, nor lament when he obtains evil, is firmly fixed in perfect knowledge. ” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 2.57)
9. Those with knowledge will clearly see what is right and what is wrong. Those with no or very little knowledge will not see anything with clarity. They will have doubts.
“One who is able to withdraw his senses from sense objects, as the tortoise draws his limbs within the shell, is to be understood as truly situated in knowledge.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 2.58)
10. Those in knowledge will not engage in sense gratification, which leads to sinful activities.
“One who is in knowledge of the Absolute Truth, O mighty-armed, does not engage himself in the senses and sense gratification, knowing well the differences between work in devotion and work for fruitive results.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 3.28)
11. Lack of knowledge leads to materialism and thus attachment to material life with suffering.
“Bewildered by the modes of material nature, the ignorant fully engage themselves in material activities and become attached. But the wise should not unsettle them, although these duties are inferior due to the performers’ lack of knowledge.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 3.29)
12. Envy is the result of ignorance.
“But those who, out of envy, disregard these teachings and do not practice them regularly, are to be considered bereft of all knowledge, befooled, and doomed to ignorance and bondage.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 3.32)
13. It is knowledge that purifies and not any rituals.
“Being freed from attachment, fear and anger, being fully absorbed in Me and taking refuge in Me, many, many persons in the past became purified by knowledge of Me—and thus they all attained transcendental love for Me.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.10)
14. It is knowledge that will elevate one by becoming free from sense gratification.
“One is understood to be in full knowledge whose every act is devoid of desire for sense gratification. He is said by sages to be a worker whose fruitive action is burned up by the fire of perfect knowledge.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.19)
15. Only those with knowledge can see the truth and only they can help others to come out of darkness.
“Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.34)
16. It is knowledge that will free one from karma (bondage to material life).
“As the blazing fire turns firewood to ashes, O Arjuna, so does the fire of knowledge burn to ashes all reactions to material activities.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 4.37)
17. The giving of knowledge to others is the highest service unto Lord Krishna. One can only give if they have it themselves.

“For one who explains the supreme secret to the devotees, devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end he will come back to Me. There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 18.68-69)

World Peace Formula is in the Vedic Scriptures

World Peace Formula is in the Vedic Scriptures

The below is unique to Sanatan-Dharma. It is impossible to find support for the below statements from the non-Vedic scriptures. This is because only God can make these statements, and God is One, Lord Krishna. The proven God of mercy and love. Don’t accept anything without proof from the scriptures.

World Peace Prayer

Om May all be happy
May all be free from illness
May all see what is good
May no one suffer
 Om peace, peace, peace

“Om, Sarve bhavantu sukhinaḥ
Sarve santu nirāmayāḥ
Sarve bhadrāṇi paśyantu
Mā kashchit duḥkha bhāgbhavet
Oṁ Shāntiḥ, Shāntiḥ, Shāntiḥ”
(Brihadaaranyaka Upanishad 1.4.14)

Give up Hate – Take up Kindness

“One who is not envious but is a kind friend to all living entities – Such a devotee of Mine is very dear to Me.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 12.13-14)

All Lives Matter – Save All Lives

“I am the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 5.29)

We are all Part of One Big Family

“One is my brother and the other is not – is the thinking of a narrow-minded person. For those who are broad-minded, liberals, or noble people, the entire world is a one big family.” (Maha Upanishad: Chapter 6, Verse 72)

God is Equal to All Living Beings

“I envy no one, nor am I partial to anyone. I am equal to all.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.29)

The 6 Pillars of Sanatan-Dharma (Eternal Religion)

The 6 Pillars of Sanatan-Dharma (Eternal Religion)

  1. Truthfulness

One must always speak the truth, stand up for the truth, and side with the truth.

  1. Mercy

All living beings are brothers and sisters, and thus, one must be kind to all his brothers and sisters. This teaching is unique to Sanatan-Dharma, and it comes from the most merciful Person, Lord Krishna (God). Kindness to animals is practiced by not killing them (vegetarianism and no leather). Treat people equally and nicely, consider the wellbeing of everyone. Never consume alcohol and drugs, tobacco, gamble, nor have relationships outside of marriage, because these cause suffering to families and especially to the women and children. One should never engage in these sinful activities, nor associate with those who do.

  1. Austerity

Live a simple life, don’t be materialistic, eat simply, fast, don’t make demands on others, lower your ego, chant Vedic mantras, reduce your desires and lust, and go on pilgrimage to holy places. One should sacrifice his time and wealth for the advancement of religion.

  1. Cleanliness

Take bath at least once daily, brush teeth at least twice daily, keep the home, business/work area, public places, rivers, and streets clean by regular cleaning and not throwing trash.

  1. Charity

Donations should be given on a regular basis to accountable and worthy Temples, to those engaged in the service of God, to those engaged in preaching the glories and instructions of God, and to the poor.

  1. Spiritual Education

The Vedic knowledge is eternal and vast with more than 1,000,000 verses, compiled by God Himself in Person. They provide knowledge in all areas of life and the science of God. The Srimad Bhagavad-Gita is the essence of all Vedic knowledge, the word of God in Person. The Srimad Bhagavatam, has the pastimes of God and history back to creation, 155.522 trillion years ago. Only the Vedic scriptures contain information on God, including His description, appearances, and activities. One should study these two scriptures on a regular basis and then explain to others, especially to the children.

“The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Fearlessness; purification of one’s existence; cultivation of spiritual knowledge; charity; self-control; performance of sacrifice; study of the Vedas; austerity; simplicity; nonviolence; truthfulness; freedom from anger; renunciation; tranquility; aversion to faultfinding; compassion for all living entities; freedom from covetousness; gentleness; modesty; steady determination; vigor; forgiveness; fortitude; cleanliness; and freedom from envy and from the passion for honor – these transcendental qualities, O son of Bharata, belong to godly men endowed with divine nature.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 16.1-3)

Scientific Knowledge in the Quran was known prior to Islam

Scientific Knowledge in the Quran was known prior to Islam

The scientific knowledge that is contained in the Quran has the following origins:

  1. The Hindu scriptures which existed thousands of years before the Quran was transmitted.
  2. The Greek and Egyptian writings which existed hundreds of years before the Quran.
  3. The Christian and Jewish scriptures which existed before the Quran.
  4. General observation by those who lived in the desert.

The compiler of the Quran basically took the existing knowledge and placed it in the Quran. The followers claim this as a divine revelation from God.

The scientific approach is the truth approach. The ability to doubt, question everything, do comparisons with other theories, and seek proof is the scientific approach. Accepting something when it’s not the fact is denial of the truth. The true God is only for the truth.

  1. Embryo creation in the Quran
The Quran, Surah 23 verses 13-14:

“Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman).

Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (Alaqa , a piece of thick coagulated blood),

then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh (Mudghah),

then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of Creators!”

Greek Origin:

The below is what the Greek Physician Galen (AD 129-199) wrote on embryology, more than 400 years prior to the Quran being transmitted.

“But let us take the account back again to the first conformation of the animal, and in order to make our account orderly and clear, let us divide the creation of the fetus overall into four periods of time.

The first is that in which, as is seen both in abortions and in dissection, the form of the semen prevails (Arabic Nutfah). At this time, Hippocrates too, the all-marvelous, does not yet call the conformation of the animal a fetus; as we heard just now in the case of semen voided in the sixth day, he still calls it semen.

But when it has been filled with blood (Arabic Alaqa), and heart, brain and liver are still unarticulated and unshaped yet have by now a certain solidarity and considerable size, this is the second period; the substance of the fetus has the form of flesh and no longer the form of semen. Accordingly, you would find that Hippocrates too no longer calls such a form semen but, as was said, fetus.

The third period follows on this, when, as was said, it is possible to see the three ruling parts clearly and a kind of outline, a silhouette, as it were, of all the other parts (Arabic Mudghah). You will see the conformation of the three ruling parts more clearly, that of the parts of the stomach more dimly, and much more still, that of the limbs. Later on they form “twigs”, as Hippocrates expressed it, indicating by the term their similarity to branches.

The fourth and final period is at the stage when all the parts in the limbs have been differentiated; and at this part Hippocrates the marvelous no longer calls the fetus an embryo only, but already a child, too when he says that it jerks and moves as an animal now fully formed (Arabic `

A new creation’).”

It can clearly be seen that the statements in this Quranic verse originate from the account of the Greek Physician Galen. The credit should be given to the Greeks and not the Quran. The compiler of the Quran simply quoted the knowledge that was already existing for more than 400 years before Islam and the Quran.

Scientific Facts

There are many errors in the embryology knowledge in the Quran, which originates from the Greeks and accepted by the Muslims as divine knowledge from Allah. One can visit medical sites on the web and confirm all the below.

  1. The most important part of embryology knowledge is the role of the female egg and fertilization. This is completely missing in the Quranic embryology.
  2. The Quran mentions that the mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge are first lodged in the womb and then the development starts. This is incorrect. The egg is first fertilized by the sperm and then it starts multiplying fast and then it leaves the fallopian tube and enters the uterus where it attaches and develops into an embryo. Then the full development of body occurs.
  3. The female discharge of egg occurs even without sex. There is no mention of this.
  4. Not every male discharge (of sperm) will result in pregnancy. There is no mention of this.
  5. The male and female discharge does not develop into an embryo. The sperm from the male fertilizes the egg from the female and then the fertilized egg (zygote) multiplies and develops into an embryo.
  6. The male and female discharge does not mix with the blood nor does it form into a clot.
  7. The bones are not first created.

The Origin of the Embryology Knowledge in the Quran

In AD 555, a medical school was founded by Anusharwan in Jundishapur, which is now southern Iran. This school combined Greek, Indian, and Iranian medical knowledge. According to Muslim medical historians, including ibn Abi Usaybia and al-Qifti, one early graduate of Jundishapur medical school was a doctor named al Harith ibn Kalada. He became a companion of the Prophet Muhammad who sought medical advice from him. Thus, the knowledge which originates from the Greek Physician Galen and others, influenced the Prophet who declared it as a revelation from Allah and put it in the Quran.

  1. Living beings created from water?
The Quran, Surah 21 verse 30:

“We made every living thing of water…”

Greek Origin:

A Greek known as Thales of Miletus (624 BC – 546 BC) stated the below more than 1100 years before the Quran was transmitted:

“The originating principle of nature was a single material substance: water.”

It is clear that the theory of life originating from water predates the Quran by more than 1100 years. The compiler of the Quran took the knowledge from the Greeks and placed it in the Quran. The Muslims consider this as divine knowledge from Allah.

The Quran also makes contradictory statements. The above verse clearly states every living being is made from water, but in the below 2 verses, it clearly states man is made from clay.

“Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: “I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape” (Quran 15:28)

“Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: “I am about to create man from clay” (Quran 17:61)

Scientific Facts

The bodies of living beings are not created from water nor clay. Water is present within the body but it’s not the building block of life. The bodies are created from cells which multiply to form tissues and bones in various formations depending on the species. God is the generating seed of all existences. If the living beings were created from water or clay, then why can’t the scientists create living bodies? There is plenty of water and clay in the world.

Without the seed-giving father (God), it’s impossible to create life.

  1. The Big Bang Theory in the Quran and the Earth and Universe were one piece?
The Quran, Surah 21 verse 30:

“The heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them …”

Egyptian Origin:

According to an Egyptian creation myth, Geb (the god of earth) and Nut (the goddess of sky) angered the sun god Ra, because they were locked in a perpetual embrace. On the orders of Ra, they were separated by Shu (the god of air) who stood on Geb and lifted Nut high up above him. Creating the atmosphere by separating the sky from the earth.

The Quran will not mention the pagan gods and goddess. But one can clearly see that the statement in the Quran about Heaven (sky) and earth being one and then separated are from the Egyptian creation myth. The compiler of the Quran took the knowledge that was already existing, and placed it in the Quran.

Scientific Facts

The Quran is incorrect is saying ‘the heavens and earth were of one piece, then we parted them’.

The earth was never existing as one piece joined with the universe. It was created and it is within the universe and it will never part from the universe. Also, based on the scientists this physical earth planet that we are living on is around 4.5 billion years old, thus it never existed before 4.5 billion year ago. Some Muslims claim that Quran 21:30 supports the big bang theory but this verse is completely incorrect based on the facts. The scientists estimate that the big bang occurred 13.8 billion years ago, and this physical earth planet did not exist until 9.3 billion years after big bang. It makes no sense to think that the earth was one piece with the universe at creation and then it parted. Since there was no earth until 9.3 billion years after the big bang and the creation of the universe.

  1. Semen comes from the backbone and ribs?
The Quran, Surah 86, verses 6-7:

“He is created from a drop emitted- Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs.”

Greek Origin:

More than a thousand years before the Quran, the Greek physician Hippocrates (370 BC – 460 BC) stated that semen comes from all the fluid in the body, diffusing from the brain, ribs, and back bone.

The above is incorrect based on modern scientific knowledge. The compiler of the Quran basically took the knowledge that was known at the time and put it in the Quran. He did not consider whether it was correct or not.

 Scientific Facts

The semen does not come from the backbone and the ribs. The sperms are produced in the testicles (balls) of males and the semen is formed in the prostate glands.

  1. Man created from semen without female egg and fertilization?
The Quran, Surah 16, verse 4:

“He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer!”

Bible and general observation:

“he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from providing offspring…” (Genesis 38:9)

The knowledge that man is created from semen was documented in the Bible hundreds of years before the prophet of Islam and the Quran. This is also a general observation by anyone.

 Scientific Facts

This Quranic verse statement on creation of man is incomplete and was known long before the Quran. It does not mention the role of the female egg and fertilization. It is the female egg which is within the female that is fertilized by a sperm within the sperm-drop (semen) which develops into a human being. Not the sperm itself. Without the female egg and fertilization, there can be no creation of man. Not every release of the sperm-drop (semen) will result in pregnancy or creation of man.  This verse is simply a direct observation of what is released from a male in the human and animal species. The Quran mentions only humans, but the males in every species can and know that they need to release (impregnate) a fluid (semen) into a female to reproduce.

  1. Gender of child is based on quantity of discharge from male and female?
Sahih Muslim, Book 3, Hadith 38:

“I have come to ask you about the child. He (the Holy Prophet) said: The reproductive substance of man is white and that of woman (i. e. ovum central portion) yellow, and when they have sexual intercourse and the male’s substance (chromosomes and genes) prevails upon the female’s substance (chromosomes and genes), it is the male child that is created by Allah’s Decree, and when the substance of the female prevails upon the substance contributed by the male, a female child is formed by the Decree of Allah. The Jew said: What you have said is true; verily you are an Apostle. He then returned and went away. The Messenger of Allah () said: He asked me about such and such things of which I have had no knowledge till Allah gave me that.”

Greek Origin:

More than a thousand years before the Quran, the Greek physician Hippocrates (370 BC – 460 BC) stated that the gender of the child will be based on the greater strength or quantity of fluid discharge from the male and female.

The above is incorrect based on modern scientific knowledge. The prophet of Islam basically states the same thing as above.

 Scientific Facts

The gender of the child is not based on the strength or quantity of the male or female substance and the female substance that develops into a human being is an egg and only one egg is released at a time. So, it is incorrect to say the quantity or strength of female substance, because it’s just one egg that is released every 28 days.

The male sperm cells have either X or Y type chromosome. The female egg cells have only X type chromosome.

If the sperm that fertilizes an egg is X type then the child will be girl. If the sperm that fertilizes an egg is Y type then the child will be a boy. So regardless of the strength or quantity of sperms. The gender of the child is purely based on which sperm cell (X or Y type) first fertilizes an egg.

  1. Seven heavens above earth
Quran 78:12:

“Have We not made seven strong heavens above you.”

Hindu Origin:

The Hindu scripture called Srimad-Bhagavatam was written more than 5000 years ago and it mentions in many verses of 14 planetary systems in the universe. The earth is in the 7th system and there are 6 above the earth and 7 below. The 6 systems above are earth have heavenly planets and as the number increases, the planets in the system get more heavenly (strong heavens). The 7 below the earth are hellish planets and they get more hellish with lower number.

“My dear son Nārada, know from me that there are seven lower planetary systems out of the total fourteen.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 2.5.40-41)

The concept of 7 strong heavens above the earth in the Quran originates from the Srimad-Bhagavatam. Although the Srimad-Bhagavatam mentions 6 above the earth, and the Quran mention 7. This is due to misquoting as the knowledge is passed from one person to the next. Even Hindus will easily misquote whether it’s 7 or 6 above the earth. It can’t be by chance that this Quranic verse is stating what was stated in the Srimad-Bhagavatam more than 5000 years ago and in many verses.

Scientific Facts

The scientists have not yet discovered the different planetary systems in the universe.

  1. The earth is flat?
“Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out).” (Quran 20:53)

“Have We not made the earth as a bed.” (Quran 78:6)

There are many other Quranic verses which very clearly state that the earth is flat. The Arabic word used in the Quran to describe the earth shape is ‘Mehad’, which means bed.

General Observation:

The earth is flat is a general observation by anyone who lived in the desert 1400 years back with limited education. Even today, some very ignorant people want to believe that the earth is flat. They will follow blindly and not follow the scientific approach of investigation.

 Scientific Facts

The earth is spherical and not flat. One can get on a plane and prove this within a few days.

  1. The suns sets in murky water at night?
“And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnain. Say: “I shall recite to you something of his story.” Verily, We established him in the earth, and We gave him the means of everything. So he followed a way. Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people.” (Quran 18:83-86)

The Prophet of Islam also confirms what the Quran states.

“Abu Dharr (one of Muhammad’s close companions) said: I was sitting behind the Apostle of Allah who was riding a donkey while the sun was setting. He asked: Do you know where this sets? I replied: Allah and his Apostle know best. He said: It sets in a spring of warm water.” (Sunan Abi Dawud 4002)

General Observation:

The sun sets in murky water at night is a general observation made by those who lived in the desert, 1400 years back with limited education. Even today, some people who live in secluded places and have no proper education, will assume the same.

 Scientific Facts

The sun does not set into anything. Due to the positioning of the earth due to the movement of the sun and earth, there is day and night. If more than 400 billion nuclear weapons were to be set off at the same time, this is the amount of heat that the sun generates in 1 second. It’s impossible for any people to be near it, not even within millions of miles from the sun. The sun is 93 million miles from earth and not at the end of the earth.

  1. Humans have existed for only 6,000 years and we all originate from one couple?
Based on the Quran, and Hadiths. Adam and Eve were the first humans created by God. They lived about 6,000 years ago and we all originate from them. This same theory is also supported by the Bible and accepted by many Christians.

“O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women.” (Quran 4:1)

Based on the Islamic tree of prophets. Noah existed between 4900 and 5900 years ago. Before Noah was Enoch and before him was Adam, the first human.

General Observation:

The people who live in the desert, would have a very poor fund of knowledge and thus they will base everything on their own limited perception. Those who have no scientific reasoning of investigation, will accept blindly what they can perceive and what others before them perceived blindly. Man cannot imagine anything beyond a few thousand years and thus they will think everything started a few thousand years ago.

Even the scientists have a similar mentality of basing theories on their own perception. It’s only due to investigation that the scientists find the truth.

Investigation or scientific approach means: Ability to doubt, question everything, do comparisons with other theories, and seek proof.

 Scientific Facts

Based on genetic science, it’s impossible for the population of humans in the world today to originate from one couple. Humans beings have existed for millions of years and not just 6,000 years. The bones of humans dating back to millions of years can be seen in museums around the world.

  1. The knowledge in the Quran was known hundreds of years before the Quran and the Prophet of Islam.
  2. The scientific knowledge in the Quran is incorrect based on modern scientific knowledge.
  3. There are contradictions in the Quran.
